Speaking. We do that all the time. So, what are the traits that are required to speak effectively and make a mark over your listeners? Let's see the 5 basic requirements of speaking effectively. 1. However one should have a complete knowledge of what he or she is saying. 2. Check your tone The tone of your voice conveys half of the meaning of what you are saying. So manage your tone accordingly. 3. Stick to the Topic Ha ha. It's really important. Don't beat about the bush. Stick to what your topic is. It's ok to explain what you are talking about but it is not at all ok to bring in out of context things and lengthen your speech. 4 Understand your listeners Again, one should know in front of whom one is speaking, what he is speaking. Simplify. Whatever you want to put across, stop beating about the bush, Come to the point and Speak up your mind. It's the era of expression and the expression should be clear and simple. Be it business, leisure or personal, the content must be clear and comprehensive. With a boom in modes of communication especially online channels, the trend of keeping a frame in front of one's eyes for not more than a few seconds is also picking up.
