Speaking. We do that all the time. So, what are the traits that are required to speak effectively and make a mark over your listeners? Let's see the 5 basic requirements of speaking effectively. 1. Speak what you Understand Very true. It is often seen that the speaker simply reads out from a script. Fine, you can prepare a script so that you do not commit any mistake. However one should have a complete knowledge of what he or she is saying. 2. Check your tone The tone of your voice conveys half of the meaning of what you are saying. So manage your tone accordingly. 3. Stick to the Topic Ha ha. It's really important. Don't beat about the bush. Stick to what your topic is. It's ok to explain what you are talking about but it is not at all ok to bring in out of context things and lengthen your speech. 4 Understand your listeners Again, one should know in front of whom one is speaking, what he is speaking. It would mean the age group of the listeners...

Simplify. Whatever you want to put across, stop beating about the bush, Come to the point and Speak up your mind. It's the era of expression and the expression should be clear and simple. Be it business, leisure or personal, the content must be clear and comprehensive. With a boom in modes of communication especially online channels, the trend of keeping a frame in front of one's eyes for not more than a few seconds is also picking up. The person would simply swipe if your content is not clear or of his interest. Keep your content clear,  short and crisp. You have to make it work for you. The best approach would be to spend time on planning and assembling the content rather than expecting your target to spend time on understanding your content. Worth. Yes, it's what we all have. It's what we all look for. It's what makes life worth living. How easily we take ourselves for granted!  We must be introspective and able to analyze our worth. Only then we would be able to carve a niche for ourselves in the wild wide world. How would you do that? Check out what you have accomplished? How you overcame the obstacles that were there in your path? It's not that we face problems all the time and we fight the odds. But each one of us has gone through times which were tough and then the times which were tougher. Everytime we would have felt that this was the toughest situation encountered till now. But then, life has another surprise in store! If you were able to sail through those harsh times,  you are worth. You are here because you are worth. Online Gaming. Nowadays everything whether it is related to work or leisure is connected to internet. Gaming has reached a completely different platform, with the prevalence of online games. These are being played by people of all age groups from young to old. The virtual world of online games is so overpowering that the gamers completely immerse themselves in it, least realising how much time and energy they are devoting to it. We would have a very common counter point to this serious situation, and that would be that nowadays online gamers are earning lots of money. However the point is that they are doing it at the cost of their physical and mental health. It is the need of the hour that the present generation should understand that they must limit the amount of time they spend online. Cellphones. In present times,  almost everyone carries one. It's Benefits v/s Harms  is the most debatable topic of these times. We all realize how important this gadget has become for one and all. First figure out which genre you want to go for. Then check out the sub category and then scroll all the available options, shortlist the ones you find appropriate. Keep the shortlisted books aside,   may be take them to a comfortable place where you can go through them and have an idea about them. Now pick the one that best suits your requirement.
